ABOUT THE STORY
Kavya Singh (Alia Bhatt) a beautiful, educated young girl is set to engage with an American doctor, Angad (Sidharth Shukla). So, she decided to go to Delhi to buy a designer lehenga. There she meets Rakesh / Humpty Sharma ( Varun Dhawan). Humpty falls in love with her. Slowly they had communication. Before a night to Delhi, she also confessed her love but said she can’t go against her father. After reaching Ambala Kavya is changed.
Overwhelmed, Humpty and his friends go to Ambala, where he tries to win over Kavya. Humpty tries hard to win the Kamaljeet’s heart(Kavya’s father). Her father put a challenge in front of Humpty which shows one reason why She should not marry Angad. Humpty tries hard but can’t get Kavya. Finally, at the wedding time Angad gets that Humpty is only best for Kavya and then, He brings everyone to Delhi where he approaches Humpty and gives his consent to marry his daughter.
